A dental clinic may advertise clear aligners, but you should still understand which clinician will assess, plan and monitor your case.
- Name and professional role of the treating clinician
- How often they treat cases similar to yours
- Whether complex cases are treated in-house or referred
Compare consultation quality
A useful consultation should explain the diagnosis, treatment goals, limitations, expected monitoring and what happens if the first series of aligners does not complete every movement.
Think about access during treatment
Ask about appointment availability, urgent questions, replacement trays, lost aligners and how quickly you can be seen if tracking becomes a concern.
